Rush Partners With Roadrunner Records. Let the Touring Rumors Begin

Yep, this is actually some pretty big news. In what seems to be a continued move to be a more mainstream rock label Roadrunner has partnered up with Rush and it looks like at least for now the first release will be a live album of sorts.

Via the official page:

The first release from Rush through this deal will be various live configurations, recorded during their highly successful Time Machine tour that wrapped earlier this summer. Details of the release will be revealed in the coming weeks.

So that’s something for the Rushaholics to look forward too but actually let me clarify the last part of the title. Queensryche and Dream Theater are also on Roadrunner Records. Current preferences or bias aside who wants to bet that a tour package with any or all of these three bands ends up becoming a reality. I’d say that would be pretty enticing for the everyday fan don’t you think?
