Opeth’s Video For The Devil’s Orchard Is Great If You Drop Acid

Over at Pitchfork today they debuted the video for the first single off of Opeth’s latest album Heritage and much like the music the video is a psychedelic throwback to old early 70’s stuff. And my throwback I mean people that liked to take mushrooms and LSD. Honestly the first thing that came to mind when watching this is some of the goofy filler material they had inserted into Led Zeppelin’s ‘The Song Remains the Same’ film. Regardless if you have not heard Heritage yet (why not?) then this package is a great introduction to what you are in store for on the rest of the album. I should put a NSFW tag on this because there is some partial nudity in this. Also check out the review I did for the album. Scott may or may not be doing his own rendition so look for that in the near future.
