Iron Maiden’s The Number of The Beast Turns 30

March 22, 1982. Iron Maiden released their third studio album and first with Bruce Dickinson. The Number of The Beast had mothers all over the world hesitant to buy the new album for their kids. As if we actually needed another reason for our parents to use the term “devil music”, this didn’t help matter. If your parents didn’t buy it for you, chances are that you got a dubbed copy from a friend because you just couldn’t be without it. So, wish The Number Of The Beast a happy 30th birthday and celebrate an epic album that will forever go down as one of the greatest albums of heavy metal history.
