Slayer Is Now In the Wine Business. Wait What?

Since when did wine supplant beer as the drink of choice for metalheads? What the hell is going on? I get Maynard Keenan of Tool doing it because quite frankly Tool kind of hits up the hipster market. But Satyricon has done it as has Motorhead and of course Kiss. Kiss I get because they’re marketing whores but is this going to continue to be a trend? Are riders going to demand bottles of chardonnay instead of Jack Daniels, beer, or Jager? Can someone explain to me what the hell is so metal about wine? Because if Slayer is doing it now I know I’m missing something. Though this could be a devious plot to go with the Slayer condoms as a way of wooing women who otherwise might not like a guy who listens to Slayer. Anyway, here is the link for the company that’s doing the bottling and distro of what I’m sure is the most elegant of vintages though they are crafty in trying to metal it up by giving it the name of Reign(Should have been Rain?) in Blood. So far this is only in Sweden but I’m sure it’ll make it’s way to a BevMo near you eventually.
