Septicflesh Is Headlining North America Finally.

Every so often a tour announcement will make me realize just how finicky about extreme metal I am. Septicflesh announced yesterday that they are headlining for the first time in the U.S. and for me that’s mega exciting. I probably should be excited for the openers too but again this is where my finicky self kicks in. It’s not that there is odd bands being paired up it’s just that whenever an extreme metal band I like plays it’s always amid a bunch of bands I either have not heard of , heard of but never listened, or just flat out don’t like. I’ll just have to suck it up this time though because Septicflesh is one of those bands I will get fanboy over. This is a band that has the ability to take death metal to it’s musical pinnacle instead of the same tired riffs and shock value lyrics. Joining them if you haven’t noticed the banner yet is Krisiun, Melechesh, Ex Deo, and Inquisition. If you like any or all of those support groups then this should be a great tour package. Not all of the dates are released yet but Canada surely is getting some love.
