Despite the negativity that Slipknot, Stone Sour, and Corey Taylor in general get, you can not deny that the dude knows how to write a good ballad. Honestly, I don’t give a shit what anyone thinks, I like almost every slow song that Stone Sour has recorded and this one will be no exception. I would also like to point out how great Corey’s voice sounds in this crude recording. It just goes to show that the man can really sing. A lot of singers sound like shit live when they try to sing a ballad, but he genuinely sounds really good here. Hopefully the next Stone Sour album will be much better than the last, which I really hated. Check out “Taciturn”.
